The Overland trailers’ exterior offers endless options and possibilities for the camping enthusiast.
The rear galley on the Pando model opens up to reveal the kitchen and storage area with two LED overheads illuminating the evening meal. Cupboards and drawers are constructed of solid marine grade birch for all weather durability and the kitchen can be fully customized to suit your needs with sink, stove and fridge.
Structure and Design
Off road trailers lead a hard life. Bumps, ruts, rocks, logs and deep water are conditions that you can expect to experience in your quest for the perfect camping spot so you need a capable trailer that’s off-road-ready.
Our aim at Off Grid trailers was to provide you, our customer, with a teardrop trailer that would stand up to the rigours of overland travel for many years to come. The OGT design team came up with what they believe to be the best combination of features to achieve the strength, durability and comfort that’s required of an overland expedition trailer.
The fully insulated, cool-in-summer-warm-in-winter, aluminium cabin is secured to a full carbon steel frame, or as an optional extra, an aluminium frame. This all rides on four 33” tires that are mounted to two independent Timbren 3500lb axles with 4" lift, giving our teardrop trailers optimum ground clearance and a smooth ride which makes life much easier for the tow vehicle.
Aluminum fenders and brush guards protect the underside from potentially damaging terrain while the optional 360 degree max-coupler hitch allows for full swivel and articulation capability during extreme off-road towing applications.
If you’re travelling with a larger group, or want to use the cabin as storage space, a popular option is the Overlander roof top tent. With its waterproof construction, mesh windows for ventilation and wide aluminum ladder as standard features, this tent can be set up and taken down in minutes and provides additional sleeping space for up to 4 adults
